Sometimes it's best to rent a home so check out vrbo.com. The cheapest vacations are off season. For instance, most beach vacations are considered off season in September. Myrtle Beach is fairly reasonable toward the end of August and early September. Check out: Orlando, FL is also a reasonable destination. I rented this home with 2 other couples and we split the price: The house is clean, great location, and you have a private pool.
