What is the best way to plan a cheap vacation in the US?
@ asked:
I am planning my first “real” vacation. Where do I start? How do I know if I am getting a good deal?

Start save money!!! a lot of it. Plan-plan and plan. Search for the best place that you want to go and find out about the cost of everything. Enjoy!!!

Try expedia.com or priceline.com to research good prices. Sometimes it’s best to rent a home so check out vrbo.com. The cheapest vacations are off season. For instance, most beach vacations are considered off season in September. Myrtle Beach is fairly reasonable toward the end of August and early September. Check out:
Orlando, FL is also a reasonable destination. I rented this home with 2 other couples and we split the price: The house is clean, great location, and you have a private pool. If it’s too expensive, do a search for condo rentals in the Orlando/Kissimmee area.
Have a great trip!
