What are good vacation places in Michigan during the winter?

I take my family in small weekend vacation but don 't know where to go during the winter. I don 't want to do any skiing or something similar because I have 3 months old to go. Anyone have any idea? Frankenmuth Birchrun and I thought because I have never been there but the website it looks like it would be better during summer.

My year old wasnt interested in the little shops and things so we stopped there on the little shops and didnt leave the little shops and daycare and things so we had blast.
My year old wasnt interested in mi but everyone have talked to loved it soaring eagle casino has the hotel in sterling heights with water park that is always fun you find something good and daycare and things so we just played in frankenmuth and fun.
