Winter is cold, snowy and/or rainy.
Alps: Switzerland, France, Austria, Italy
Nightlife: Paris
Culture: ?????
Switzerland has three different cultures:
Eastern Switzerland (German part), mostly German food (Zurich, Basel, Bern, just name big cities)
Western Switzerland: moslt French food (Geneva, Lausanne, Sion, Fribourg, Neuchatel, etc.)
Sout-East would be Italian (Ticino), Lugano, Belinzonna, Chaisso, etc)

fully go to italy, then work your way over to greece, france is overrated, further north its cold, spain is cool, and you can get from italy to barcelona in a couple days. but if you only can go one place, go to italy. you wont be dissapointed, it is the california of europe.

I would go to Spain…You have plenty of nightlife in Barcelona, Madrid and in the South (where it is warm even in January) along the Costa del Sol and in Andalucia…You can also visit the Balearic islands including the (in)famous Ibiza or for tamer nightlife go to the Canary Islands. Inland you will never be at a loss for things to see - from cathedrals, to Moorish castles, to Arabic inspired gardens and courtyards, wonderful museums, great shopping, you’ll never get bored…and the food…well up North you can get amazing seafood and down south in the province of Andalucia you can enjoy tapas!
So yeah…I highly recommend Spain - Viva Espana!
