These always come through at work. Has anyone ever went on one of these? How was it?

I always throw those straight in the recycle bin. They sound extremely sketchy.

It’s a scam, we get one everyday, I think you do better booking it on your own.

for the most part they are a scam - only deal with a reputable travel agency or book travel yourself on the internet

Rip off….You may get a Jamacain that won’t include airfare.

They are timeshare deals. You still have to pay for your airfare to get there. The question to ask is, Is your vacation worth a 2 hour+ hassling to buy a room at the same resort that you are at? Are you going back? They say you can trade it with other resorts, but it is somewhat difficult to do with having a specific week at one resort compared with buying points you can use.
If the promo is for somewhere in the US go for it, if you don’t mind losing the time on your vacation, but if it is in Mexico be careful, the timeshare people are really nasty down there and they don’t take lightly to people who say NO.
You normally get a discount for the room, but is it worth it?

It’s either a time-share offer or a flat out scam.An acquaintance of mine was taken by one of the latter.
