Things to do in Vegas in December?

My boyfriend and I will be going to Vegas for four days in the middle of December and we wanted to know if there are any special events going on or some fun free things to do (yeah, we are kinda running low on funds, but we booked the vacation 3 months ago). Any ideas?
p.s: i play poker and black jack so i know about the gambling part (i know how to limit myself too)

i already checked the vegas site, and apparently december is western month… just wanted to know if anyone had an inside scoop that wasn’t posted on the site.

visit Vegas.com, that site will give you everything to do. From expensive to cheap. Don’t forget to hit the Fremont experience downtown, it’s amazing and the free shows that go along with it are some of the best.
Lots to see on the strip that is free, the Fountains at the Bellogio is a must.
There are also a number of shows you can get 2 for 1 coupons. I just saw a hypnotist where 2 of us got in for about 30 bucks. He was one of the best we’ve seen.
This doesn’t have to be expensive for you. I’d suggest that you stay away from the gambling. It is easy to get caught up with the “one more pull” will win me the money. You won’t. Any gambling should be viewed as entertainment only

NFR(National Finals Rodeo) does dominate the scene in LV for a week and a half each December.
