Yes they do. Are you saying that if your boss was on vacation, you would cease to work? If people need to be watched that close, then they need to be fired.
Not hardly our troops are lucky to get a day off let alone a whole month and I am telling u as a veteran myself.
As for the Iraqi government Bush, and Congress, ask them and when u get the answers let the rest of the American people know the reason why I am sure we will all be waiting with bated breath
FDR, Truman, LBJ, and Nixon all took vacations during war. Carter stayed in the White House during the whole Iranian hostage crisis. Who do YOU think did a better job?
When do you approve of him taking a vacation? What did you say? Did you say that it isn’t up to you to dictate policy to the President of the United States?
Do you whine when your doctor goes on vacation too when people are sick?
The Commander in Chief doesn’t need your approval (or anyone else’s) when it comes to when he is allowed to take a vacation.
Why don’t you put your guitar down, quit singing peace songs in the park, put the bong down, and put on a uniform and go help our troops.
IN case you forgot, the troops are serving their country VOLUNTARILY. No one held a gun to their heads and made them sign up. They signed up to do a job they believe in.
My son is a soldier. He believes in what he is doing. When people like you ask thoughtless questions, it gives the intelligent people a bad rap.

Staying at work hasn’t helped. Doing nothing can’t be worse.

No our troops don’t. Bush has taken more vacation days than any president in history. He shouldn’t take ANY vacation until the war is over.
