What are the best locations for a girls only vacation?

I want to plan a vacation for my Aunt (57) and myself to go on (24). We have been to San Franciso and the tourist attractions and shopping was very fun! Are there any other locations that would be fun for two girls travelling who love to shop and take in the scenery? We’re from Boston, so warm weather is top on the list. Oh and w/in the states please. She is afraid to leave the country.
